There are no waiting periods for most services, and anyone can enroll regardless of their dental history — no health questions asked. Preventive care like routine cleanings, oral exams, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants are covered at 100% both in-network and out-of-network. There is a $50 individual deductible (or $150 per family) per year, but it does not apply to preventive care, so your cleanings and checkups are fully covered from day one. For basic services — including fillings, simple and surgical extractions, root canals, and gum treatment — the plan pays 80% after the deductible, whether you use an in-network or out-of-network dentist. Major services like crowns, dentures, and bridges are covered at 50%. Each person has a $1,500 annual maximum benefit, which is the most the plan will pay out in a calendar year across all covered services combined. Orthodontic treatment is not covered under this plan. This plan is a strong choice for individuals and families who want to start using their dental benefits immediately without worrying about waiting periods or being turned away due to pre-existing dental conditions.
